Monterey Take Down Spray is a useful pyrethrin-based spray for the home gardener. This product is a contact insecticide and is safe to use on fruits and vegetables throughout the growing season up to the day of harvest. Take Down Spray contains canola oil which acts as a surfactant (spreader/sticker) and allows it to be applied as a dormant spray to control overwintering pest populations.

Take Down Spray kills eggs, larval, and adult forms of affected pest insects and is most effective when used at the first sign of the pest population. The concentrated form allows the user to mix just what is needed for complete application to the desired area.
