Amber’s sister called to say she had stopped by the ranch and instantly knew it was exactly the venue her sister had been dreaming of. I’m always a little nervous when a couple wants to book sight unseen, but her sister and mother carried a quiet confidence I couldn’t deny. When I finally spoke with Amber over the phone, her excitement was unmistakable. Garden Valley Ranch was exactly what she had been looking for.

Getting Ready

The girls used the Carriage House for their preparations. This large, historic barn offers sweeping views of the bucolic hills and provides ample space for multiple hair and makeup stations.               

The guys got ready in the Garden Cottage—where, truth be told, there’s not much to do but relax and hang with your buds.

First Looks

Few moments are as touching as a father-daughter first look. It’s a quiet pause in the day, filled with pride, love, and the kind of emotion that doesn’t need words.

The Ceremony

Framed by our Belvedere gazebo, Amber and Hunter exchanged vows surrounded by the natural beauty of the ranch. 

The space also makes an excellent stage for live performances like this beautiful melodic gift from the bridesmaids

Cocktail Hour & Reception

After the ceremony, guests wandered through our Secret Garden while the ceremony space magically transformed into a candlelit garden dinner party beneath twinkling bistro lights.

Golden Hour

The ethereal magic of the ranch peaks at golden hour. Warm, golden light sweeps across the fields as the sun dips toward the horizon, creating a breathtaking backdrop—perfect for couple portraits.

Dancing the Night Away

The large brick patio sets the stage for dancing under the stars, where twinkling lights and laughter fill the air as the celebration carries on.
